Free introductory information session for schools
In our report “If Only You Knew” exploring the school experiences of siblings of disabled children, children and young people told us that they want schools to better understand what life is like for them.
This session is open to teaching staff and will explore the unique challenges faced by young siblings, share insights from recent research, and introduce practical FREE resources that schools can use to better support siblings in their settings.
Feedback from previous sessions:-
Signposting to all the resources you have available as well as the discussion on competing conflicts young carers experience – that was a great illustration on the slide!’
“Opening my eyes further to how things are for siblings, and also the next steps. We really want to introduce a Sibs Club or something like that into our school and yesterday was invaluable in starting us on that road.”
