Siblings and School

Siblings tell us that school can e really tough sometimes. It can be hard because

  • friends don’t understand what life is like at home
  • it’s hard to get homework done
  • it’s tiring because you don’t get a good night’s sleep

We’ve got lots of great information about school stuff for siblings on our School life pages including keeping up with homework, talking to your teacher about what’s happening at home, and how to ask for help if you are finding things difficult.

It’s also a good time of year to think about how to take care of yourself. Have a look at our pages on Mental health and wellbeing. You’ll get ideas on looking after your mental health which is really important for everyone.

We’re really interested in finding out more about how you find life at school when you’re a sibling as we know that things can be tough and would love to hear your thoughts – let us know what you think!
