As a charity, we are aware that language is constantly evolving. We always strive to be as inclusive as possible in our work. We are aware that for some siblings, gendered words like brother or sister may not be appropriate.  Sibs uses the term sibling to refer to the children and adults we support, and uses brothers and sisters when referring to disabled brothers and sisters, to make it clear in our information who we are referring to. We know that currently this does not work for all of our community, but as yet, we have not found an alternative solution which works easily for all.  If you have ideas on helping us with this, we would very much welcome your feedback.  Our Trustees will be reviewing our position on a regular basis.

Thank you for your understanding and support.
