High energy game, great for any time you need to raise the energy, or run off some steam!
A largish clear space. Clear any table and chairs and other objects that could be tripped over to the side of the rooms.
There must be a minimum of 8 players and an even number.
Get the players to pair off and link elbows and stand in a circle
One of the pairs drops out of the circle and becomes 'ON'. One of this pair becomes the 'chaser' and the other becomes the 'runner'. The chaser chases the runner around and in and out of the circle.
At any time the runner can link elbows with any of the pairs in the circle, making it into a 3. The third player – the one not attached to the runner - must break away and become the new runner.
Whenever the chaser catches the runner they change roles and the chaser is chased. As before the runner can link up with any pair at any time so that another player becomes the runner.
When you try it out for the first time practice in slow motion until everyone gets the idea – then speed up and have fun!
