A chance to look at hopes and worries for the future. This activity is most suited to older adolescent siblings.
A sheet of paper laid out as in the Future Plans template
Pen or pencil
Explain to the sibling that you are going to think together about what his/her life might be like in the future.
Look together at the sheet and discuss what life might be like in 15 years time for the sibling. This should include what the sibling would like it to be and also any concerns about problems which might occur.
If appropriate, follow up with some discussion of what actions could be taken to minimise the concerns and promote the dreams.
