Hammer race

Purpose
A fun game that requires cooperation and concentration. There can be some element of friendly competition if you split the group into two teams.

You will need
A largish clear space. Clear any table and chairs and other objects that could be tripped over to the side of the rooms. An inflatable hammer or other object.

How to do it
Siblings line up in one or two rows. They have to pass the inflatable hammer or other suitable object down the team, alternately between legs and over head. When it gets to the end of the line, the last person runs around to the front and continues. The winners are the ones who get their team lined up as they started.
